Everton are back on track in the final month, making it for 5 draws and one win. Their overall performance is very improved, in their last match when visiting Arsenal they had all the chances to win the match, were the better team on the pitch through the whole 90 minutes and more importantly they had the control and the battle in the midfield. With their blunt attack in some cases they now can make seious danger to very excellent City defense.
L. Donovan is the new signing for the hosts, played 60-70 minutes for them against Arsenal on the right flank and he was great, he adapted to the fast-pace game in the Premier at the very moment he touched the grass and in matches like that it doesn't get any faster. He assisted a goal as I can reacall, don't take my word for it. he will support Saha in the front, the only available forward for the Toffees in the moment.
Yakubu and Joseph Yobo are on Africa Cup of Nations duty. Victor Anichebe, Mikel Arteta, Tony Hibbert, Phil Jagielka and Jack Rodwell all remain injured.
On the other side City have improved even more than their oppnents with the change of coach and the taking over by Mancini, 3-4 matchdays before. Since then they have conceded only once, last match against Blackburn scoring 4 on the way. Defense is almost water tight at the moment, sill it is questionable if they can hold on for whole 90 minutes against Everton at the moment. My hopes are on Everton scoring once, twice is too much for my taste.
So in order City to take points they have to score at least once. They have Tevez in the fornt, maybe the most in-form forward in the league at the moment. Bellamy will support him, so with the overall displays and the current squad I can not see City losing this match. Midfield problems with SWP and Ireland missing alongside new signing, veteran P. Vieira. They have enough to cevoer the gaps with Barry and De Jong.
It is a both teams to score match and on of the better bets in the Premier this Saturday with all the low odds in the other matches.
Still, the inevitable 1-1 result got me boogey on betting on over 2.5 goals.
bet wise, goal bet. hurry odds are dropping.
